Applications of Pediatric Forced-air Surgical Patient Warming Blanket
Operating room temperatures are often kept relatively low to prevent the spread of microbial contaminants. Therefore, to reduce the risk of bleeding, cardiovascular problems and other cold-related complications, such blankets are almost always used to keep the patient warm, especially during long procedures.
